The Story

The KA-BAR Backing Plate Attachment System is an additional option to carry select KA-BAR products, such as the 1310 Slabby and George Cool Name Knife Series. Simply attach this backer plate to existing sheaths to provide an additional carry option. The frame is made from Celcon®, the strap is made of Hypalon®, and a retaining cord is present to help secure the knife. Please note this is only for the attachment system.  Knives and compatible sheaths are sold separately. 

Features:

  •  The backing plate frame is made from durable Celcon®, while the strap is crafted from tough Hypalon®
  • The system is MOLLE-compatible, allowing integration into tactical setups, though MOLLE straps or cordage are not included and must be sourced separately
  • This system is specifically designed to work with select KA-BAR products, including the KA-BAR 1310 Slabby and the George Cool Name Knife Series. It may also work with other sheaths or holsters outside of the KA-BAR lineup
